Not only the business must be clear on what products and services the business will offer but a lot of analyses must also be done to be included in the business plan. The industry analysis is one that might pose a problem but it can be done at the same time as market analysis. In each industry, there are many competing businesses and they must be analyzed and part of the competitive analysis section of the business plan.

Another important section of a business plan is the sales and marketing strategy section. Each business must find the best ways to market its services and products to find as many customers as possible. Nowadays, online marketing techniques can be as effective as traditional market strategies. It is necessary to know all the possible marketing channels that can be used to grow the business.
